The Apartment

A few things to know.

Wi-Fi, the way the keys work, where to park, the local good places, and what to do if something needs a phone call. Skim it before you arrive — that's the idea.

01

Welcome

A short hello from us. The keys are in the box by the buzzer, the fridge has the basics, and the bakery on the corner opens at seven.

There's a folder by the kettle if you prefer paper, but everything worth knowing is on this page. If anything's missing or broken, send a message — we'd rather know.

02

Arrival

The keysafe is mounted by the main door. If you're stuck, the neighbours on the ground floor have a spare set — knock on number 1 Izquierda.

House rules

A few things that keep the place easy on whoever comes next.

  • Quiet inside after 11pm — the building is small and walls are thin.
  • Smoking only on the balcony, with the door closed.
  • Shoes off in the bedrooms is appreciated, not required.
  • Pets are welcome if you let us know in advance.
  • Maximum guests as agreed when you booked — no extras crashing.
  • If you move furniture, put it back. If you break something, tell us; it's fine.

Around

A short list — the ones we'd actually recommend, not a tourist guide.

(Edit me in /content/recommendations.mdx. Add or remove groups and items to suit. The structure is YAML in the frontmatter — keep the indentation consistent.)

  • TODO — restaurant

    Tapas, 5 min walk

A short note on what to order, when to go, and whether to book.

  • TODO — restaurant

Open late. Pharmacy two doors down.

  • TODO — bakery

    Round the corner

Open from 7. Get there before nine for the best of the morning.

05

Emergencies

If it's serious, ring 112. If it's a leak, a lock, or a question that needs a person, scroll down.

(Edit me in /content/emergencies.mdx.)

Police, fire, ambulance — single number across Spain.

  • Nearest hospital

    TODO — name of hospital

TODO — drive time and town.

  • Owner (Jamie)

    TODO — phone number

Anything that needs a real conversation.

  • On the ground

    TODO — name and phone

Whoever can be at the door in 15 minutes if something's gone wrong.

06

Checkout

The leaving routine. Nothing strict — just what makes the next guest walk in smiling.

  • Strip the beds, leave the linen in a pile in the main bedroom.
  • Used towels in the bath, fresh ones folded back on the rail.
  • Empty the fridge of anything that won't keep — bins are by the building entrance, bag in the cupboard under the sink.
  • Dishwasher run, glasses put away.
  • Windows closed, balcony door locked.
  • Keys back in the keysafe before you leave the building.

If you've used the bottle of olive oil, leave a note — we'll restock.
